Patient Advice And Liaison Service (PALS)

PALS can provide you with information about NHS services, help resolve concerns or problems when using the NHS and provide information about the NHS complaints procedure and how to get independent help should you wish to complain. Your local PALS representatives are:

The Old Priory Surgery Patient Representative Group

The Primary Care Trust (PCT) has instructed the surgery to seek volunteers to form a Patient Representative Group (PRG). The purpose of this group is to take on board and endeavour to resolve any matters concerning patients. However, you should be aware that this does not include anything of a medical/clinical nature; that will remain a confidential matter between patient and GP/Nurse. Matters which may arise (for example only): Appointments, Toilet Facilities, Access to Surgery.

The meetings take place on a quarterly basis. If you are interested in joining us, please contact the practice manager. Finally, please remember the PRG is your voice in the running of the surgery.
